FAQs

We have tried to answer the most common questions we are asked here.

The evo1610 achieves 0.5 mm accuracy and holds the OIML R85-1 & R85-2 certification. This official certification, combined with its high resolution, verifies that the measurement integrity is sufficient for high-value commercial transactions, reducing financial disputes and simplifying regulatory audits.

FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave) constantly transmits and processes a signal via frequency shift, which provides a much stronger and more stable measurement than the intermittent reflection used by pulse radar. This allows the EVO 1610 to penetrate foam and ignore vapor density changes while maintaining accuracy, especially important in agitated process vessels.

Yes. The evo1610 is designed for safety and efficiency. Configuration and diagnostics are performed using the MCG 2150 Infrared Remote Calibrator. This allows field technicians to communicate wirelessly with the gauge from the ground, ensuring the explosion-proof seal remains intact and enhancing worker safety.
